"The basic principal behind these is chemical reaction to make CO2. Remember the grade school volcano with baking soda and vinegar? Same principle. No explosive, no flame, no dangerous parts."

What do ya think?

They're pretty cool...John Flowers had a few. A little guesstimation is required to get them just right.

How well do those things actually work, I mean, they're expensive enough.

It\'s better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I have personally used the AHG in action, and they are a little tricky, being that first you have to pack the ingredients into them to start.  Then making sure the cap is screwed on just right so there are no air leaks.  Finally no consistant timing on the grenade makes things hard...

One battle it blew up half way to the target, second battle blew up after 30 seconds.  On the 3rd battle I threw the grenade against a wall and exploded instantly.

I think that they work best when thrown against somthing with considerable force, their effectiveness is unclear to me, maybe when it is not 20 degrees outside we will test them again and see if we can make them more effective...

I just bought a grenade from Ivan last Friday.  I'm still trying to get it down.  I can't seem to make the thing work when I want it to.

The next day, Saturday, I used it during a match and it did the same thing.  And it blew the wire and rubber pieces out of sight... as well as the red rag attached to it.  Never did find them....

And sometimes, it won't blow at all.  I just need to play with it a little bit more I guess.  It's a pretty cool grenade though.  It's one of those gas "Lemon" grenades(?).

I think you're talking about the Escort Gas grenades, bro.

They were discussing the AHG one-time-use frags.

yah, I would experiment with O rings and sil glide to get the best results. I had it down to 5 seconds consistant once for a whole game. (then it got dirty)

Negative, I am speaking of the AHG, the ones that I threw against a wall and they exploded had an air leak cause the seal wasn't... well sealed.

ive got 4 escort grenades, the only downside is the strings with the gaskets get lost. And they dont pop when you need them. green gas does ok, red far better results, pure propane ??? untested.

but they work. one direction only.

If you've seen some of those Mil-sim labs grenades, those are pretty good.  They use something like 4 ounces of water and hold about 200 bbs.  They'll explode when they hit the ground so just through it next to someone.

The AG-1 grenades are a pretty cool way got get out of a jam. I have been working through a case and I like them a lot. If you biuld it right they are very dependable. And when they explode and all of those BB's scatter with a boom, thats pretty cool!!!
Not sure where your getting your pricing but they are not $50 each. more like a few bucks.
....huh, what was that.......boom your all dead!
