Glock 26
« on: March 24, 2006, 07:04:36 PM »
I was thinking about buying a glock 26 for a side arm for a sniper

does anyone beside me think its a good idea also?

and is a glock 26 really as good of a full auto pistol as they say it is?

any information on the glock 26 and pricing (websites, stores, etc.) would be very appreciated

thanks in advance

KWA Glock 26C is good but I would not recommend it as a starter gun. The G17 will last longer to stupidity.

What's wrong with semi-auto?  I've used a glock sidearm and I love it.  It might not shoot auto, but I've hit people from 20 ft away.  The accuracy is pretty good on some of the glocks.  And besides, with pistol mags, you'll run out of ammo pretty quick shooting full auto.

Sean, you were using a KWA G-19, I don't know how different the performance is but I've never heard good things about a full auto pistol.  Hurts, go with a semi auto, you'll save gas and bbs.

I own a g-19 as a side arm for my SPR.  It's semi only and I love it.  Great accuracy, but the front sight is a downer, mine fell off, but you dont really need it.  If you're using it for close range (since you said you were getting a sniper rifle) you wont need the sight anyways.

As someone who has (actually just sold) a KWA g26c, i should tell you.  The gun is horribly innacurate.  it may shoot a billion rounds a second but none of them will land on your target.  A sidearm I suggest is the KJW g23.  It has been very dependable for me.  It has a good kick, shoots accurately and is relatively inexpensive.
