Game Type: Pistol/Shotgun only. Single elimination
When: May/June/July?
Where: Florence AO
What time: Meet at McDonolds in Florence at 0550. Depart for AO at 0600. Start games by 0630.I thought about planning some pistol/shotgun only games out at the Florence AO. This gives most the majority of people who never use their pistols or shotguns to get some focused trigger time only on that weapon, and pistol games are suprisingly fun. It's a great place to play and is perfect for that type of combat. I know we haven't been out there in a while so I was wondering if anyone was interested before actually setting up dates.
The games would probably be in may/june and maybe july. They would be fairly early in the morning, starting by 630 before it gets too hot. Then we can be out of there and home for lunch. The actual gameplay would comprise mostly of single shot elimination because the AO is small enough to just walk back to the cars after every game (and I don't think anyone likes to carry that many pistol mags on their belt...). Fast paced action.
For new guys who have never done this type of game. It's really quite enjoyable, and is also a great first-timer game for newcomers who are checking airsoft out.
I'm also doing this as an invitation for the Tuscon players to play with the pheonix players. I know that they often have trouble coming up to play in the pheonix area, and it can be a pain to go all the way to Four Peaks or Sycamore Creek. This is kind of a half-way point for you guys.
