Cool stuff, kinda noisy with that gas engine in it but it does look like they are headed in the right direction.

The T-100 series is not to far off  :P

The snow test was not a suffiecient test. In deep snow those legs will sink like a rock with out some form of snow shoes on them. Dont know if they could out fit that thing with them and still work as effective.

If you want to talk robotics, this is one of my favorites. Team terramax with their robotic 7ton MTVR. They didnt finish first in the darpa competition but they did finish and I think rather valiantly with such a huge vehicle, check out this and other websites for videos and such.

That Tatra Vaal Robot.  Everything is possible, but I think a thing like that would require a huge power source for any useful amount of runtime. And for more power, size becomes an issue.
