Im new to airsofting in a way. i have not played in a real war like AA does but i have had little wars with some freinds and not that great of guns. i was telling my dad about AA and all the stuff that i found about airsofting on here and how it is much diffrent then what iam used to playing. and we like to shoot real guns. so he said dang that sounds like fun so he is getting a law suite settle ment in like a month or 2 and he said when he gets the money from that we will go out and get all hooked up with some guns and gear i was wondering if you guys can tell me some places to go get stuff and or what to get. i live in gilbert i dont really want to drive all over the world to get the stuff but i will if needed. and my dad of course wants the baddest gun out there so some input and help please guys would be help full. thanks

For Arizona stores look up Jungle Toy.  Otherwise sites like aex.com, airsplat.com, airsoftatlanta.com are all good, there are some more listed under AA's sponsors link.  As for gear, look at the gear link.  Most of the stuff you want to know is already on here somewhere, you just have to look.

The best guns to be had are from on-line sources. Check out the sponsors of AA and hit up these:

www.uncompany.com
www.wgcshop.com
www.dentrinityshop.com
www.redwolfairsoft.com

and the links that sean pointed out.

The sweetest deal out there right now is the Classic Army M15A4 CQB-R.

ok GIJO this might be long, i might be 16 and you may think i don't know what i'm talkning about but i have been airsofting for about 5-6 years now. so like said Jungletoy is the only decent store close to you in AZ, use websites such as evike, airsoftexteam, dentrinity, airsoft atlanta, redwolf etc i could give hundreds more. badest gun as you stated to me is an M249 or any LMG or MG. especially an MG36! if you like the M4 M16 etc get Classic Army or Tokyo Marui, personal recomendation. and get stuff for it such as M203, and what ever else you may like on em. if you want the best gear, right now a lot of people say multicam...you could get a vest with MOLLE wich allows you to customize it, but that stuff is $$$$$$$$$, but get a gun, vest, mags, batteries, boots, camo, goggles or prtective glasses rated of corse, pads are handy to me, headgear, personaly thats what i say but you really want to ask the big guys, like vince, azsarge, etc....but i put out what help i could lend, i could rabble on but that might be a bad idea

Go on over to www.airsoftextreme.com and buy two Classic Army M15A4 C.Q.B.'s.

I run one and it's the best AEG you can buy. No upgrades are necessary, really. This AEG is the baddest motherfucker in the valley.

Buy a Crane stock battery for each (9.6v, 3800mAh), and a charger, and you will be GTG.

Jungletoy sells everything else you will need. Either a paintball mask or goggles, depending on your needs (I wear Oakley M-Frames, which are ANSI rated [this is the protection your eyes require], but they are expensive and perhaps not for everyone), and they also sell tactical vests. If you find that you are into the gear, we can fill you in on what's better. We'll cross that bridge when we get there. Extra magazines are also highly recommended. I like MAG brand mags. You can get a box of eight M4/M16 magazines that hold 100 rounds each for about 43 dollars, I think. They're plastic, but really solid and well made. Everything else is up to you.

Welcome to the boards.

P.S. - AO means Area of Operation, or, location.

Everyone has been very kind on offering you answers to your questions.  But I will ask one thing of you - please learn to at least SOME punctuation.  Please.

Now go to the Introduce Yourself area and do that (introduce yourself!).
