Very nicely done Art. Also, +1 for actually taking the time to do the painting right, what with the priming and all.

Liquid Sky, do you have a problem with the edit button, or is this how they do s*** in Commiefornia? And don't try to just show off, the guns aren't that great. Posting pictures of the same ones over and over isn't that great either.

Your forums were slow and i was alt+tab'ing between pages because my multitasking is pretty on it.

next time you should either edit the posts yourself or ask me like a responsible adult instead of being a jerk about it. i'm not a kid. i don't treat others like that even on my forums.

you want to talk? PM, email or call me on the phone. John Figueroa has my number.

P.S.

i just realized why i did that. it was during LC5 and there was a whole lot of non-topic ranting going on without moderation. i was trying to bleed that out and get it off the last page status to hopefull kill it off.

P.P.S.

NONE of those are the same weapon.

I'll second that. You may want to think twice about making a balsy comment to Liquidsky if you don't know him. He doesn't have a problem speaking his mind in your face. I witnessed it at its fullest at a game in Cali and heard a few interesting stories. He definitely is the opposite of communist. We'll just say he's well known in that part of the country.

By the way, he's putting on an awesome game the 17th if anyone is in Socal this weekend. It's gonna be big.

I didn't know who he was, I'm hearing now he's a cool guy. I don't take back what I said, but I appologise for saying it in the manner it was said.

And what check did I write, Dave? Did I say I was going to do anything about it? No. It wasn't internet bravery, it was merely talk, and it wouldn't happen in real life, because the situation wouldn't have happen in real life.

This isnt real life?  Ah Crap, then there is no spoon. Skyler was right!

Back on topic, Vince now you cant paint that gun due to the trade factor.  Still, it looks very nice.
Was that your CA CQB that you put an HK body on?

It's a full HK416 conversion kit.

I'm going to refinish the whole rifle and then re-paint the trades.

Ironically, I have every piece necessary in my house, right now, to copy Jeremy Miller's HK416 as well :D

Skylar's always right. McGee's Marauders! OUT.

:D

Better hurry, Vince.  I've got a set of Troy BUIS, and a Larue LT 1.93 on order...and I'm leaning on G&P to send me one of their IR PEQ-2 replicas.  It'll go nicely with my ANVIS-6's when my guy finishes getting them built.  :D

Nice looking 416 though...gotta shed that Krink though...it does nothing on a gas piston system on a real rifle.  ;)

That's what I thought, but POF uppers ship with Krink brakes and I've seen some AR15 pictures of people with LW uppers with Krink brakes, and the LW rifle I handled at SHOT had a Krink brake on it, so, who knows.

The KX3 is good because on real rifles, it directs all flash and noise forward of the shooter. I dunno, until I read otherwise, I'm gonna keep it on there (and it's like, the best airsoft suppressor).

I don't think I'll EVER have any NODs...but I could borrow an IWAL-2 and put it inside my current PEQ and, well, I can order replica Troy BUIS :D

Nah, I like my rifle now it is now.

I would've been more than happy to trade that piece of crap for the 552. ;)

Wait, I meant, that's a nice gun, is it a SOPMOD M14? (I'm tired, can't think straight...)

Yeah, m14 sopmod, got it from gixer13.

I was like, one iota from trading it for the sig, but at the last minute decided to keep it.
