Ummm...the whole thing is metal dude.  except for the tube and the stock.  Pretty solid.

On another note...it came with this 8.4, 600 mAh battery and very simple wall charger.  How long will it take, assuming it is dead, to get a full charge?  I don't know this battey's history.

I know that this charger won't charge my new 1400 Nimh pack.

Thanks.

all the text is in japanese (Mikey?  little help?).

It does have this :  6~7 on the top and AC 100 V on the side, but the rest is japanese.

Put it on the charger until it gets warm then.

Without knowing the output of the charger, it's impossible to know how long it would take to charge the battery.

Just thought I would mention I have a Sig 550 and a friend has a 551.  Both burst chips still work fine.

I'm sorry Pilz, you are correct, it is plastic.  It is so heavy and solidly put together, it felt like metal.
