Didn't you also have a Escort mp5 last year for LCV?

That was an MP5SD5. I didn't use it.

Bring it Shirley!  Got me a new 'Easy Button' in addition to an AK. :)   This was a pic right out of the box....took a bit to get the orange tip broken free from the super glue that was used.

What do you say we lay some odds on the outcome of LC6?

...if the Allies win, well, you come to a game...

Nevermind, nothing quite so severe, this is a game after all.

Sounds almost interesting except this year they're not keeping score.  The Allies will have to accomplish their objectives while getting trying to win support of the various tribes.  Not so much force on force 24x7 this time where you shoot everyone not dressed like you.  :)

Good luck trying to 'win' with your ROE.   :P

Just because there's no point system doesn't mean that the outcome of the OP won't be decided. It's going to be decided based on mission success and failures.

Unfortunately, I think you put too much stock in the ROE. As the old saying goes...it's only illegal if you get caught. I'm not putting any sort of stock in the outcome, and without any sort of hubris, I hope you guys can put up a good fight. I've thought since the roster was announced that BoUSA put too much stock in people wanting to be the bad guy; 4:1 is way too high a ratio when you guys don't have noncoms to blend in with. Any time I see somebody in something other than ACU or MARPAT, all I have to do is wait until a) you do something hostile so I can kill you or b) nobody's around so I can kill you.

It worked well at Bulldog because the teams were even; here, I'm not so sure.

Yeah, it'll definitely be interesting with the team ratios but I still suspect there are some elements that we aren't aware of yet.  You're right about the ROE, it's only effective if followed.  I'll reserve further comments until I get my player pack in a week or so.  :)

I agree, did you prep the stock in any way or just use a krylon camo over the stock TM stock?  Let me know how it holds on for you, I'd love to make my M14 a tan color but am afriad the paint will smear right off after a game or two.

Thanks Ghostsequel, I was surprised how well it turned out considering it was my first paint job.

Kileyhaz, I didn't prep the stock at all, I just used Khaki krylon paint.  I first started with two layers and then added an additional two a couple weeks later.  Even so, the contact points are obviously going to wear off as you can tell in the picture.  Just make sure you follow the directions EXACTLY on the krylon can.  They're something to the effect of, "paint dries in 15 minutes, able to be handled after 24 hours, apply all additional coats with in 24 hrs or seven days later" If you apply additional coats after 24 hours, but before 7 days the paint will clump or something to that effect.

The paint doesn't spear right off after a game or two though, so I would definitely paint an M14 if you were to get one, it really improves the finish of it in my opinion, and just looks better than the black that Socom 16 comes with.

pilz, did Ron use a flat clearcoat?  If not, you should put a couple coats on to protect the paint.
