Bondo does wonders. The grip nub is slightly to big since I just took a used a mold with the mesh on my bros G36c. So it sits on/in the grip. You can't even see the rear crack due to bondo and super glue nor most of the scratches.

The stock color just doesn't look like as good as Ultra Flat.

Yes, that ultra flat certainly looks much more appealing to the eye. ;)

EDIT: That's a beautiful SCAR Altered_Soul!  :shock:   Does it include trademarks or is that writting just VFC's information?

@Altered Soul:

Your "G36c" is very sexy, as is your baby hi-capa. However I find SCAR-Ls to be as appealing as Jabba the Hutt.

The trades are the US VFC import version unforunately, its missing the top line of FN maker mark, but thats it.  Everything else is there.  I didn't feel like paying +$50 and overseas shipping for a 20 character line of whiteout when these trades look good enough.

Vince,

That the Echo-1 EBR?  Have you chrono'd it yet?  Nice paintjob.  I'd like to see if they chrono consistent between guns.  Mine was 393fps/.20g, 353fps/.25g Killerbeez.

Hey Vince, I love the pattern you created with that paintjob!  Mind sharing how you made it? :D

No, it's a G&P Mk14 built on a TM M14 -- I have had it for like a year +.

He hired an asian to do it.  Because they are shorter they can get closer to the work more easily and therefore do such a meticulous and daunting job so well.

Under-paying my asian friends to do my piantjobs for me....sounds like the 'American' thing to do.  Now where did I put that lead paint...

The lead-based paint was last seen in the asbestos lined sweat shop.

You could also just wrap the gun in netting and paint it.

The STAR optics are awesome. The only con is with the 3.5x since you must  be really close to use it and it was at a 30degree angle off center. I fixed it but couldn't put the spring back in since it seemed to be too big.

I replicated a Bundeswehr grenadier G36. The only con is that I don't have a shell yet....

Matt, those are indeed incorrect links for that gun.

Let me see what I can do.
