Its a PDI PSG-1 fluted outerbarrel, no longer made.  Kinda like this current production one:

http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/a ... odID=18482

But mine is completely fluted, no vents like on that one.

Also its obviously threaded at the end.

You had to point out the fact that I used the term "fore arm" instead of "fore grip."  Any specific reason behind that? I was just asking a valid question to find out if there were any issues applying a real steel wooden piece to an airsoft rifle which I own and am also in the process of doing the same modification. Thank you for pointing out that I used an incorrect term. I would have to guess I am now a better person for knowing to from now until forever say fore grip.

It was really worth that long of a response? and you stated the reason yourself.

Something tells me that a , "oh yeah woops, wrong term" Response would have been much easier and well suited. Just an Idea :-k

Actually why don’t you GOOGLE H&K forearm. You will get about 30 pages of results. Why don’t you email all of those companies and tell them they're wrong! Case in point http://www.ar15pro.com/category/775-AR1 ... earms.aspx

Damn even SUREFIRE has it wrong they call it a FOREND. As far as their concerned a FOREGRIP mounts to the FOREND. But damn I’m happy to know that your right and half of the world is wrong!!!!! Thanks for setting us strait.
