New M4 with ejecting shells

Looks cool, but you'd need a shell catcher.

Be cooler if they had an autoloader shotgun, each shell firing 10+ BB's or something.

Is the magazine double stack? It doesn't look like it. It looks pretty short too. I'm sure they'll eventually make a longer one with a larger capacity. THEN these might look fun. Still it's kinda pricey. And I wouldn't want to be picking up shells everywhere.

Also observe:

Quote
We have been testing this new airsoft gun! The rifle shoots harder than anticipated. The FPS varies widely; however, it is consistantly 400fps - 500 fps w/ .12g bb and 330-400 w/ .20g bb. This is a really fun gun to have in the arsenal!

Ahhh...kind of a big FPS gap there... :?

Also check out this movie....kinda speaks for itself... http://content.kapowwe.com/images/movie ... ap-gun.wmv

looks like it would be pretty worthless in a skirmish to me unless it was really shooting the hardcore FPS its bosting.  Then it might make a decent sniper application given its accurate and you can change out the barrel for a longer one.  Personally i think it would have really bad jamming problems.  The one thing is i remeber those single shot caps from when i was a kid, they are pretty loud and would be a cool effect, even better if you had one of the old TM silencers that had the foam in it and would probably really silence it.

Why would anyone want to buy that gun? It's basicaly an AEG but it ejects shells and only holds 8 rounds. Thats only good for shooting targets; it does look kinda cool with the smoke and all. 8)

For indoor CQB it would prolly be okay, you could mark your shells and pick them up after.  Also removes the 'spray and pray' techniques.

That would be intimidating to hear that poping noise and to see the smoke. I would actually consider using that if I had nothing else left and could use two; As long as I bought like 30 spare mags. [smilie=armata_pdt_36.gif]

i think it might be cool for a kids first gun as long as it didnt hit too hard. Its kind cool with the smoke and the sound it could really get someone excited about airsoft until they wanted something competitive.

If this propells the BB with the cap explosion, it seems like it falls under the legal definition of a firearm.

I wonder what legal difference there is between this and a gun shooting 9mm rounds somehow fitted with ABS bullets.

What would you consider simunition type ammo as?

Looks like it jammed on the last round. The bolt opened but nothing came out.
